The Last Shift
Former district attorney turned mystery writer Libby Leigh Bryon discovers firsthand that fact can be stranger than fiction when she becomes the lone witness to a double murder executed by none other than Eddie "The Mallet" Lennox.
The prosecution does everything in its power to keep its star witness alive, including rotating around-the-clock protection provided by three of New York's finest. But key evidence collected at the murder scene disappears. Then one of Libby's trio of defending police officers turns up dead. Lennox will stop at nothing to silence the one person who can finger him for the crime.
However all that pales in comparison with the fact that Jude Madison, the detective assigned to take the last watch each night, has been keeping a centuries' old secret and Libby is the only person who knows it.
Libby is then forced to trust one killer to save her from another when she discovers she was Lennox's intended target all along.

The Cure
Chancella Tremaine, a respected cellular biologist, has willfully sacrificed any sort of personal life in her quest to unravel the mystery of vampirism and the secret to restoring mortal life. Having just penned a book on the subject, Chancella finds she has attracted quite a bit of attention, but no one could have guessed what her controversial reanimation theory would lure out of the shadows.
World-weary vampire Valian de Mortenoire has been putting one undead foot in front of the other for two hundred years, disillusioned with his much-overrated immortality but unable to get a release from its empty existence. Upon learning of Chancella's work, he seductively offers himself up as an inhuman specimen and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to test her hypothesis. Frightened but intrigued, Chancella's logical side wins out and she eventually agrees to work with the dangerously attractive Valian. But their arrangement is soon complicated by their mutual attraction to one another, as well as the arrival of Valian's age-old enemy - the vengeful Jack, who wants Chancella for his own dark intents.
Despite their pain, passion and power, they must have the courage to test and be healed by The Cure.

Blood Bytes
It's New York City, way way in the future and many things have changed - like the legalization of sex for hire and the popularity of the undead in the world's oldest profession.
Conversely, the unreliability of males, immortal or human, remains a constant, or at least that's what Detective Tess Monterey has deduced after a particularly painful breakup with her partner and secret lover.
While investigating an apparent sex slaying, the trail leads to Blood Bytes - the city's only online vampire agency, and its most sought-after supernatural stud, Devante Matiero. The last person to see the victim alive, Matiero quickly rises to the top of Tess' most wanted list - in more ways than one.
Tess wades through a series of suspects and clues, along with her own distracting desires, desperately trying to close the case while holding onto her new-found stay-away-from-love conviction.
But as she is destined to discover, things are not always as they appear. And not all good intentions pave the road to hell - some actually overlay the way to heaven.

Crimson Hours
Do you believe in vampires?
Exposed in this titillating trio of distinctly different stories is the possibility that all around the world at any given time of the night, people are interacting with the undead - sometimes unwittingly.
Certainly there are those who welcome, even seek out, the immortal, as is the case with Samantha, an LAPD detective who enlists the aid of a bloodsucker from her past to help identify, track down and kill her daughter's murderer in Dawn.
On the flip side, there are those clueless humans like Maddie, a bored and dejected Boston housewife in Dusk, who has absolutely no idea her talented young dance instructor has had literally centuries in which to hone his craft.
And what of Alison, the icy businesswoman from Texas who finds out just a little too late, in Midnight, that the cowboy who has recently roped her in and so quickens her pulse, doesn't actually have one himself.
Three women, three vampires, one night. Think you would know if you met one?
